Osia Hyper Retail IPO description – Osia Hyper Retail is an emerging supermarket chain with a focus on value- retailing. The company opened its first store in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 2014 and has 11 stores located across various cities in Gujarat. The stores have various divisions to cater to varied shopping needs of customers and these include Menswear, Women’s wear, Kid’s wear, Footwear, Cosmetics, Perfumes and Handbags, Household Accessories, lingerie, Gifts, Groceries, crockery, Handicrafts, utensils, handlooms, etc.
According to the prospectus, the company has one distribution centre, located in Ahmedabad. The distribution centre helps the company in reducing costs and time by providing centralized procurement for products as well as better inventory control. The chain sources its products from Calcutta, Mumbai, Delhi, Surat, Agra, Ahmedabad, and Tripur.
